You’ve passed your driving test — congratulations! 🎉
But becoming a confident, capable driver doesn’t stop on test day.
At Ministry of Driving, We offer the Pass Plus courses in Eastbourne to help newly qualified drivers build on their existing skills and feel more confident in a wider range of real-world driving situations.
Pass Plus is a practical driving course developed by the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency). It’s designed to extend your experience beyond standard lessons, reduce risk on the road, and — with some insurers — may help lower your car insurance premium.
The Pass Plus course covers six key driving modules, mostly conducted in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, and focuses on situations you may not have encountered during your initial training:
Each module is taught in real driving conditions, with calm, clear guidance in friendly non pressured environment. The focus is on building confidence, improving decision-making, and helping you feel relaxed and in control — no pressure, just practical experience that makes a real difference.
Pass Plus is ideal if you want to:
Thinking of becoming a taxi or private hire driver in Eastbourne, Polegate or Hailsham? At Ministry of Driving, I offer tailored driving tuition in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, designed to help you meet the higher driving standards expected for taxi and private hire licensing.
Whether you’re learning to drive for the first time or you’re an experienced driver preparing for a taxi assessment or local authority test, lessons are focused on professionalism, safety, and real-world driving skills.
Training is adapted to suit your experience and goals, with an emphasis on:
With calm, clear instruction delivered at a level appropriate to an already experienced driver, you’ll be supported in developing the skills and mindset required for driving as a profession — not just passing an assessment, but driving safely and responsibly for work.
Please note: taxi and private hire licensing requirements vary by local authority. Training is designed to support preparation, not to guarantee licensing outcomes.
